    BLC Bank S.A.L (hereafter “BLC”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy and rights of every Individual (hereafter “you”). We are dedicated to ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of data entrusted to us and seek to be transparent when we collect and use your personal data.

    We also comply with the Lebanese Banking Secrecy Law and therefore maintain confidentiality regarding our customers’ data, which has been entrusted or made accessible to us with respect to the business and/or contractual relationship.

    We will protect and use your personal data in the most appropriate way as indicated by this Privacy Notice and in accordance with the provisions of Law 81/2018, BDL Basic Circular No. 146/2018, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation 679/2016 (“GDPR”).

    In order to address your request, we have to collect and process data about you.

    WHY WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND ON WHAT LEGAL BASIS

    • Fulfillment of Contractual Obligations: To perform our contractual and business obligations.

    Although we strive to maintain the highest level of security, no system can guarantee absolute protection against all threats.

    If we become aware of a data breach that may adversely affect you, we will notify you without undue delay where required by law.

    You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your authentication credentials and security measures, including PINs, usernames, passwords, mobile devices, card numbers, and account numbers.
