Locally, BLC Bank operates a network of forty branches that is continuously expanding. As part of its local expansion, in 2009, BLC Bank acquired 100% of Lati Bank’s shares.
Regionally, In March 2011, BLC Bank completed the acquisition of USB Bank PLC Cyprus. USB Bank is the eleventh largest bank in Cyprus out of forty-two banks, and one of the four banks listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange with nineteen branches throughout the country.
Moreover, the BLC Bank is planning further regional expansion through the establishment of a representative office in 2011 in Abou Dhabi – UAE, in addition to a 10% participation in Fransabank Syria.
